Santa Monica Fertility Specialists. We’re different.

I am pleased to welcome you to Santa Monica Fertility Specialists, a unique fertility practice fueled by world-class research. My goal in establishing this clinic was to blend the finest aspects of progressive, academic research with the quality personal care of a private practice. I believe we have achieved that goal.

I have twenty-five years of academic experience at the University of Southern California, which I bring to SMFS’s cutting-edge, innovative medicine. Ours is a holistic approach, tending to both mind and body with uncommon individualized attention. I encourage you to take a look around our website to learn more about us and about the full range of fertility services and fertility-related surgeries we offer. 

In the Embryo ICU ^TM at Santa Monica Fertility Specialists, we monitor and customize the conditions under which each embryo develops—a departure from most contemporary IVF practice. We find that our individualized approach optimizes the health and development of each embryo.

At our nonprofit foundation, the Lyan Institute of Fertility Research (LIFE Research), we are working to understand the mechanism by which human embryos fail to develop. Using advanced molecular techniques, we search for genetic and metabolic errors by scanning the genome and secretory products of embryos that fail to survive.
